Trinity Sunday 2007
Dear Friends at Christ the Redeemer Parish,
All of you are invited to Receptions after all the Masses next weekend, June 9th and 10th, 2007, to celebrate the Ordination Anniversaries of the Priests at Christ the Redeemer. The priests will welcome parishioners and refreshments will be offered.
Rather than the priests being the recipients of the festivities, we wish to thank you and share with you our gratitude for the many years of our priesthood. Father Bill Schmidt, Father Arthur Johnson, Padre Lino Rico, and I consider our ministry among God’s People as a wonderful blessing. The gathering will allow us to see and experience the diversity and graciousness of God’s love among us.
The celebration covers many years of ministry. Father Bill, Father Arthur, and Father Howard have shared their ministries as Friars of the Atonement. Father Lino is a priest of the Archdiocese of San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Respectively they celebrate forty-six years, thirty years, thirty-five years, and nine years. These many years have been of service to the Church and blessings to each of the priests.
No gifts are expected. Our hope is to personally thank people and share our continued excitement about our priestly ministry. The receptions are our gift to all of you. Please come and join us in Atonement Hall after the Mass which you attend.
