One Faith, One Lord Religious Education

If your child is preparing for Confirmation but is unable to enter into regular Religious Education for Grades 7-12 because he or she has little Religious Education background or is preparing for First Eucharist as well as Confirmation, you should enroll your child in a class that use the One Faith, One Lord textbook. The textbook and classes are available in both English and Spanish.

These classes are offered on Sunday or Monday evenings at the same time as regular Religious Education classes. In the first year, youth complete the One Faith, One Lord textbook. In the second year the youth enroll in the appropriate regular Religious Education Grade and celebrate Confirmation (and Eucharist) in the fall. Youth are expected to complete the Religious Education Year after they celebrate Confirmation.

Example with a Grade 9 Youth: This fall enroll in One Faith, One Lord, next fall enroll in Grade 10 Religious Education; celebrate Confirmation in the fall of Grade 10 and finish the Grade 10 Religious Education Year, which ends in May.
